The Hyperbaric Oxygenation is a treatment used for the fast recovery of the traumatized or hypoxic tissues. It consists in applying pure oxygen at higher pressures, which allows the oxygenation of tissues, causing cicatrization and eliminating bacteria which leads to a fastest recovery. This makes it useful for diabetic patients in serious fractures, in vascular ulcers, in cerebral hypoxia and in any disorder in which the tissue oxygenation is affected.
